Talk to site.Get the photo.Keep the record.
A site chat that works like the messaging apps your crew already use. Every photo is kept against the site, ready when a valuation is queried.
No card needed to start the trial. Joining someone else’s site is always free.
Kerbline is run by Darby Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17391515.
The film
See it in 34 seconds.
The film is in English.
What you get
One chat for the site. A record underneath.
Messages and photos, in one place
One chat for the whole site. It works like the messaging apps they already use, and messages are translated into each reader’s own language.
Ask for the photo before you need it
Raise a photo request for the shot you’ll want at valuation. It stays open on the site until someone there answers it with a photo.
Evidence you can hand to a client
File photos into albums named after the bill. Export a pack of the photos with a PDF of who sent each one, when it reached the record and where the phone said it was. Or download a PDF site report.
How it works
Set up a site in a few minutes.
Create a site
Name it, and Kerbline gives it an eight-character code to share with the crew.
The crew join with the code
Joining is free, with no card, on the phone they already have.
Send as usual
Every photo is kept against the site, with who sent it and when it arrived. File it now or later; export it when you need it.
Pricing
Pay per site, not per person.
Priced per active site, per month. Add the whole crew, your subcontractors and the client’s engineer. Adding people costs nothing.
How the price is worked out
Each site is priced by its place in the order, and later sites cost less. Your first site is £249 a month. Sites two and three are £209 each, four to eight £175 each, nine to twenty £145 each, and every site after twenty £119 each. So twenty-one sites cost £3,401 a month, about £162 a site. Annual billing is paid a year up front and costs about a fifth less. Monthly plans are rolling, with 30 days’ notice to cancel. No VAT is charged.
| Sites | Monthly | Average per site | Annual, a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | £249 | £249.00 | £199 |
| 3 | £667 | £222.33 | £537 |
| 5 | £1,017 | £203.40 | £815 |
| 10 | £1,832 | £183.20 | £1,462 |
| 25 | £3,877 | £155.08 | £3,087 |
A finished site can be archived: it stays readable and frees its place for the next job. Every site includes unlimited people and every feature.
After the trial
What happens after the 30 days.
30 days free on one site
Start with one site, no card needed, and add as many people as you like.
Add a card when you’re ready
Add a card in one tap at any time during the trial. Nothing is taken until the 30 days end.
No card, no charge
If there’s no card when the trial ends, your account goes read-only and nothing is charged. You can still subscribe to keep your sites. If you don’t, the content is kept for 90 days and then deleted.
Then £249 a month for that site
With a card added, the first payment is taken when the trial ends. Need more sites? Ask us and we’ll add them to your plan, priced as above.
What languages does it work in?
The app is in English, Polish, Romanian, Lithuanian, Bulgarian, Portuguese and Albanian. Messages are translated automatically into each reader’s own language. About 50 languages are covered, and anyone can tap to see the original.
Do workers need to download anything?
No. Kerbline runs in the phone’s web browser. They open the link, sign up with an email address and join with the site code. They can add it to the home screen so it opens like an app.
Does everyone on site need to pay?
No. Only the company running the site pays, per site. Everyone else joins free with the code.
Who owns the photos and messages?
You do. Everything sent to your sites stays yours and your users'. We host it so that Kerbline can work. It belongs to the site, so it stays when a worker leaves.
Can the main contractor see our sites?
Only a site you give them the code for. They join that one site as a guest. They can read and post in its chat and see its photos and requests, but only from the time they are on it. They can’t see your other sites, your albums or your reports.
Where is our data kept?
Messages, photos and account details are stored in the UK, in London, and backed up in the EU. Translation works differently: when a message is translated, its text is processed on Anthropic’s US-based infrastructure and may be processed in other regions, and Anthropic keeps it for up to 30 days. Other services, such as email and payments, also handle some data outside the UK. The sub-processors page lists each company, where it works and the safeguard that covers it.
Who are we dealing with?
Darby Technologies Ltd, a UK company (number 17391515). Our terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and personal data is handled under UK GDPR.
How do we cancel?
During the trial there’s nothing to cancel unless you’ve added a card. If you have, cancel from your account before the trial ends and you are not charged. Monthly plans are rolling: either side can end them on 30 days’ notice. Annual plans run for 12 months and renew unless you give 30 days’ notice before the end.
What happens to our record if we stop paying?
Your sites go read-only. Nothing new can be added, but you can still read everything and export evidence packs. Once you’ve paid for a subscription, we don’t delete your record on any schedule or timer. A free trial that never became a subscription is different. We keep its content for 90 days after the trial ends and then delete it, and we email the company’s Owner with the date at least 14 days before. Subscribe before then and nothing is deleted. Clause 8 of the terms has the detail.
Is our evidence ever deleted?
Not once you’ve paid for a subscription. We don’t delete a paying customer’s photos or messages on any schedule or timer, even if the subscription ends; we delete them when you ask us to. A free trial that never became a subscription is the exception. Its content is deleted 90 days after the trial ends, and only after we’ve emailed the company’s Owner with the date at least 14 days before. Clauses 8 and 11 of the terms have the detail.
